Boys Varsity Football · Six Eagles Sign to Play College Football

On Wednesday, six members of the George Jenkins football team signed to play college football.  Wide receiver Zac Tallent, safety Dez Flowers, linebacker Sam Gabriel and offensive lineman Sloan Cullifer all signed with Anderson University.  Anderson University is located in Anderson, Indiana and competes at the Division III level.  Defensive back Hector Rodriguez signed with Lindenwood University-Belleville.  Lindenwood University-Belleville is located in Belleville, Illinois and competes at the NAIA level.  Middle linebacker Jayden Monroe signed with Alabama A&M University.  Alabama A&M University is located just outside of Huntsville, Alabama and competes at the Division 1 FCS level.

With these six signings, that makes 7 members of the 2018 George Jenkins football senior class signing to play college football.  Jordan Domineck signed with Georgia Tech last month.  This senior class helped lead a turnaround of the Jenkins’ football team, as they went from 1 win their junior year to 6 their senior year.  These young men exemplify what George Jenkins football program is all about.  Good luck to these young men.  Once an Eagle, always an Eagle!
